We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our finance team

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our finance team and provide support to our Finance Manager. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records and ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
  • Recording financial transactions in accounting software and ensuring accuracy of all entries
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring
  • Reconciling monthly bank statements and credit card statements
  • Providing reception and office administration cover as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Hold a valid Guernsey Resident Certificate or Permit, or an Employment Permit (Right to Work Document)
