Director - Jersey Joe Donohoe

Joe has worked in the finance industry for over 30 years, spending most of that time as a professional trustee.  Following qualification as a chartered accountant in Ireland, Joe moved to Paris to work with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG).  Moving to Jersey in 1986, Joe joined the trust company of Coopers & Lybrand and following a number of structural changes in the organisation, was part of the ownership team which sold the business to Royal Bank of Canada in 2005.

During his career, Joe has been responsible for the affairs of a wide variety of wealthy families and individuals from around the globe, including major clients from the USA, Eastern Europe and Singapore. 

Joe holds a BComm (Bachelor of Commerce) degree from University College Dublin and an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from University of London.  He is a chartered accountant (Fellow of the Irish Institute) and a member of STEP.  Joe has spoken at and chaired many international  conferences and has written in a wide range of professional journals.
