In association with software developers IMS, ARC has developed a suite of applications which are marketed under the SAS Profiler brand. These applications operate from a single database platform that combines public data (such as funds and indices) and private data (such as segregated portfolios, manager models and private funds).

SAS Publisher

SAS Publisher enables the user to generate factsheets analysing portfolios, funds and models versus benchmarks, selected peers and sector groupings. The user specifies the charts, tables and graphics they wish to see and sets them out in a template using a simple drag-and-drop interface. The template layout is fully flexible, allowing corporate logos and colour schemes to be incorporated.

SAS Analyser

SAS Analyser is designed to generate tables of statistics for user-specified data groups. The columns of data are displayed on screen with graphics and information on the basis of calculation. Filters and sorts can be applied to each column and summaries calculated for specified peer groups.

SAS Riskprofiler

SAS Riskprofiler is a questionnaire-based application that is designed to provide guidance to clients on the type of portfolio most likely to meet their needs and aspirations. The questionnaire goes beyond a simple fact-finding exercise; it seeks to gain insight into risk tolerance and market perceptions. This application can be calibrated to work alongside a user’s in-house risk categories and model portfolios. It can be delivered as a web-based application or as part of the SAS Profiler.
